January's Story

"Hi, I am January, part of the 7 Months of Christmas litter! I am a sweet little girl and just turned 8 weeks old! January is my month and so I am so glad I have this big, fluffy coat to keep me warm in the coldest month of the year. I am the most independent of my brothers and sisters and always the last one through the dog door when it is time to come inside after going potty. Yes, you heard that right. I already use a dog door and have been working very hard on my crate training and house breaking. If you let me out frequent enough, I do not mess in my pen!

I love exploring and playing with my siblings, my mama September, and the other dogs that live in my foster home. I have spent my developing weeks being socialized with kiddos and adults in my foster family. I just love everyone!

My mama is just 45lbs, so I will probably be around a 50lb medium sized dog. And as for my breed? Well, I am one of two fluffy pups in my litter and my mama is a red headed shepherd/pittie mix…maybe? It is all a guessing game really. My foster mom says we are perfect Heinz 57 dogs!

I am looking for the perfect home for Christmas. Will that be yours?"

January is being fostered in Castle Rock, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/january/.

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
