Jango (Dallas)'s Story
Jango is a great companion. Jango's a 9-10,18lb terrier mix. He thoroughly enjoys walks, is inclined to follow his owner around the house, and fine around dogs his similar size or smaller size, often ignoring them. However, his primary issue is his tendency to form
strong attachments, which can lead to protective behavior.
We have found that using a water spray bottle helps to calm him. At adoption events, Jango tends to bark at larger dogs walking by, prompting us to request that strangers maintain a safe distance and refrain from petting him. If he is uncertain about an individual, he may exhibit snippy behavior. Jango is a dog that desires a single companion to share his life with. His background is marked by loneliness & abandonment. His family abandoned him at a shelter, where he was slated for euthanasia before being rescued. He was in a foster home for over a year. Jango was adopted, only to be returned three to four months later. The adoptive family had introduced a puppy to alleviate Jango's loneliness and anxiety, but unfortunately, Jango did not tolerate the puppy well. Consequently, he was returned to CAMO and has since been residing in boarding.

Jango's adoption fee is $300.00

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

EIN # 46-5486022
12/08/2022
|
Intake Memo
by camo_tammy

Was scheduled for euth
