Janeane $450's Story

Very nice to meet you, I'm Janeane! I'm about 1 year old & currently weigh about 50 lbs. I can sometimes be shy, but my foster family has been taking me on lots of outings & are really proud of how my confidence is building! You just need to have two magic items - treats & other dogs! I sleep like an angel in my crate overnight but am now trusted to choose my own spot (I choose my crate with the open door), I haven't had an accident in the house yet & I'm a breeze to walk. I'm fine sharing my toys (I love all kinds!) & food with humans & other dogs, aren't touchy about my tail/paws/ears/etc (after I'm comfortable with you) & crave affection so you better be okay with giving scratchies! I love walks where I can sniff & inspect everything. I am great on car rides. I haven't met any cats yet. Younger kids can make me nervous, they move fast & that's scary, I'll duck & maybe growl to have them calm down, but I've been great with older kids. I've lived with big & small dogs. I do *NEED* another confident dog to show me the ropes & help me understand that I'm okay. I also have a rough & tumble play style, so a dog friend with is okay with that is important.
