Hi, my name is Jane I came to this rescue many years ago as a young puppy well about 6 to 8 months old. I was here for about two years when I was adopted by a wonderful gentleman so it was just me and him for the last seven years, he put me in boarding at my vet (where I really loved everybody they had been good to me over the seven years) to go to the hospital for a simple surgery...sadly 30 days later was when the vet found out that he had passed. I was sent to<br/>animal control & luckily enough for my microchip I was able to be returned to the rescue that I was familiar with and knew. I missed my owner dearly, I never got to say good bye, I never got to see my home again, it was only supposed to be for 10 days. I did go through a grieving process when I arrived here, but I have come to enjoy being around the people I am familiar with. However, l<br/>miss my home & I miss having my own people, I miss not having to share my attention with others. I'm a friendly girl and get along well with other dogs - well I'm 10 years old so the younger ones not so much, they're a little high energy for me which I hope you can understand but outside of that I love other dogs! I do best with shy or laid back dogs, not dominant ones. I love children, I love people in general, I just miss having my own home and my own people so I hope you'll find it in your heart to come meet me I'm in good health to be 10. I don't act 10, I like to play ball, I like to be silly, I like my belly rubs and just like affection in general so I hope you'll find it in your heart to schedule a meet and greet and come meet me. I'm a very quiet girl - I only bark when I'm hungry and need to go outside. We also lived in an apartment so l was walked daily so I do love my walks and I'm great on a leash, crate trained and house broken! Love, Jane
