Jane's Story

Meet Jane! This sweet little girl and her adorably huge ears were dumped in the parking lot of a trucking company. Presumably by a trucker passing through who no longer wanted a companion on the road. Thankfully she caught the eye of someone who worked in the office, so when no one had come back for her after more than 24 hours he took her in and made sure she got to safety! He brought her to RMG on the day Jane Goodall (one of our heroes) passed away, so of course we had to name this sweet dog in her honor!

Jane is between 1-2 years old and has been doing great in her foster home! She gets along well with all of the other dogs and doesn't hesitate to make herself all comfy cozy with some soft blankets in her crate for a good nights sleep! Kind and gentle like her namesake, our Jane would make an amazing new best friend for someone special!

Are you that special person? Rescue Me Ga Inc's Adoption Policy
We have an application process that we require for any adoption. The application can be found on our website at www.rmgdogs.org - its the first step in our process and required before we set up a time for you to meet the dog you are interested in …. ALL of our dogs are completely vetted - all vaccines - spay or neuter - dewormings - chip - heart worm tested and treated if needed and ready to be loved. WE are foster based which means our dogs are in homes or temporary boarding when we rescue them -- we know their personalities and what would be their best fit! Our dogs come from a rural Georgia shelter and often we take in surrenders from families facing difficult situations….. WE do post many dogs still in need at animal control as well as all who have been saved already that are in foster homes. We do NOT operate a facility where you can visit the dogs unless you contact us to possibly meet one already in a foster
