Jamie's Story
Meet Jamie, a sweet and funny gal who had been waiting at the North CentralShelter for more than 100 days! Jamie arrived at the shelter on November 13th, 2024, as a "stray", found running loose on Pasadena and Ave 31.

Since landing at the shelter, Jamie captured the hearts of everyone she met —staff and volunteers alike. She loves playing ball and soaking up all the TLC from her dedicated volunteer friends. Jamie had a few masses removed and seemed to be recovering well.

It was clear that Jamie was not a fan of being in her kennel, she has become stressed. When she first arrived at the shelter, she weighed 93 pounds, but she lost so much weight due to stress and is down to 61 pounds. Jamie needed a hero or she was scheduled to loose her life. That's where RGR stepped in, thanks to a dedicated foster and medical sponsorship.

Jamie has been thriving in her foster environment, with her foster sibling. She is loving, playful and beyond loyal. We would love for you to meet Jamie if this sweet senior is what you are looking for!

Give this girl the second chance at life that she deserves by applying at:
