James's Story

Hi! I'm James-your very handsome, very lovable adventure buddy! I'm a tan and white pit bull terrier mix with a big smile, a happy heart, and energy to spare. I'm about a year old, so life is exciting to me-I'm playful, jumpy, a bit mouthy, and always ready to have fun. I came to this shelter as a transfer, so my past is a bit of a mystery. But my future? I'm hoping it includes you. I'm friendly with new people and would love someone who wants to explore the world with me-long hikes, outdoor adventures, or just active days together sound perfect to me! Oh, and I need to be honest with you...I am OBSESSED with tennis balls. If you give me one, I will love you forever. I'm also a smart boy! I already know some cues and would be excited to keep learning more with a person who wants to help me be my best self.

I've also played with other dogs here and had a great time, so I may be open to going home with a canine sibling! And the best part? I'm all set to go home-I'm microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and neutered. All I'm missing is a family to love, play with, and go on adventures alongside. If you're looking for a sweet, energetic, and incredibly charming companion, I think we might be perfect together.

Interested in adopting me? We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then heading to the shelter during our normal adoption hours to meet our available animals. Please note: all applications are considered general until the animal has been met. If you have any questions, please contact animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or 410-833-8848 Ext/Opt 2.
