Jake's Story
Adopt Jake!

Jake is an amazing pup who also happens to be blind. You wouldn't hardly know it though once he gets settled into a new space. He maps spaces in a day!

Jake can probably see some shadows when the lighting is very bright. He will bump into things but he learns real quick where the furniture is. He's adapted so well to his disability, it's amazing to see him in action. We've taken him on hikes, he plays with the other pups, he knows where his kennel is and goes in no problem for a treat.

Jake was about 3 months old when he landed at a south Texas shelter. He spent about 3 months at the shelter before we pulled him with the help of a foster. We're guessing Jake is right about 9 to 10 months old now. He's neutered, vaccinated, on prevention and microchipped. He's all set to find a loving family!

We'd love to find Jake a home with an active family. He loves to be outside playing and enjoying his friends, 2 or 4 legged. If you'd like to meet this handsome, incredible boy, message us at Happy Tails Ranch Rescue. We also have a FB page for more pics and videos!
