Jake's Story

Meet Jake

Jake is approximately 10 months old and is a pit/weimy mix who was found abandoned on the street. He is the sweetest boy who loves cuddling and playing and appreciates time with his people. He loves other dogs and does great with kids of all ages. He has not been around cats that we know of. He has a very silly personality, and is also very affectionate and will keep you laughing!

Jake is a big happy puppy and has not yet had alot of training, but is very eager to learn, and will look to you for direction. He wants to please and is excited when he is rewarded with treats! He will need an owner who is patient with him as he learns manners. He is very smart and pays close attention to his surroundings. He would thrive in a home that wants to teach him new tricks and take him new places!

Jake is working on crate training, he can be in the crate 3 to 4 hours calmly. He does have some separation anxiety due to being abandoned, so minimal time in the crate is best for him until he can trust his new owners will always come back for him. He is potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside, as long as he knows where the door is located. He will be neutered prior to being adopted and up to date on his vaccinations.

Exercise is important for Jake's breed, if he is not exercised he may get bored and a bored puppy will find things to chew on or get into. He has a moderate activity level, so he needs1-3 hours of moderate activity like walking or playing ball, or 1 hour of high activity, like jogging, running and learning.

Jake requires a $50.00 non-refundable deposit to hold, and his adoption fee is $250.00 due on the day of adoption.
