Jake A182295<br/>65 lb. neutered male, approx 5 years old <br/><br/>-Handsome, older boy with an adorable graying face<br/>-He is stressed here and isn't particularly fond of the loud environment. We would love to see him in a home more suited to his needs!<br/>-He is a very friendly boy and enjoys being close for pets and attention!<br/>-He sometimes becomes submissive when nervous and lowers his head and paws softly at you<br/>-He's smart and knows sit, give paw, and lay down<br/>-He is food motivated and takes them decently after a couple reminders to be easy<br/>-He's not playing too much, but there was a hint of a playful side when he briefly grabbed a stuffie to play<br/>-Good, older boy who's not meant for shelter life<br/>-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros <br/><br/>Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids <br/><br/>*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt <br/><br/>*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. <br/><br/>*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. <br/><br/>*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. <br/><br/>*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. <br/><br/>**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home.
