Jake's Story

Jake is 2 years old, 45-50 lbs
Jake has a rough start. he was confiscated by animal control with a badly embedded collar & he had been kept in a crate 24/7. His neck has fully healed and he is learning to trust humans. He has been with an awesome trainer. he is low to moderate energy., which is a rare attribute for a lab! good with other dogs. just needs slow introductions to new environments and people. He wants to trust and is learning every day. He has been trained by one of the best and is now an amazing boy. He also rides great in a car.

Jake is a loving goofball once you earn his trust. He wants to be by your side and is interested and curious about everything you do. He is full of tail wags and playing is what he lives for. Jake is working hard to trust people but needs to be in a home that will take time to work through his fears. He needs a home without children.

Loves to play with a ball - with you or by himself
Loves hide and seek – he always wins
Loves car rides – Sits really nicely
Loves a good belly rub (and body rub for that matter)
Food/treat motivated
He is a hard chewer
Walks well on a leash
House trained
Crate trained but is fine to be left out
Does not chew on what is not his
Up to date on all shots, is on monthly heartworm & flea and tick meds
