He lives for sniffy walks and is using them to kick off his weight-loss journey-he&#39;s currently over 100 lbs, but with gentle daily walks and a balanced diet, he&#39;s on the path to a healthier life.<br/>Jake is a dream on leash-he doesn&#39;t pull and walks calmly by your side, taking his time to sniff and explore. Even when other dogs are reactive, Jake stays cool and focused on his walk, showing no reactivity.<br/>He&#39;s done wonderfully with children (ages 6-10) and has lived peacefully with cats. Jake prefers to be the only dog in the home, as he can be nervous or uncomfortable around other dogs, particularly smaller ones-but he&#39;s done well ignoring them in public spaces.<br/>His previous owner described him as &#34;very chill, low-key, intelligent, and affectionate&#34;-and we couldn&#39;t agree more. He loves pets all over, leans in for affection, and will happily roll over for belly rubs.
