Meet Jake! <br/><br/>Jake is our sweet girl Yoda’s brother and came from the same homeless encampment — but his story shows just how extraordinary this gentle boy truly is. While living outside, Jake stepped into the role of protector and step-dad to a mama dog and her newborn litter of seven puppies. He helped keep them safe from coyotes and even brought food back to mama so she could care for her babies.<br/><br/>Thanks to some amazing friends of the rescue, we were alerted in time and were able to secure Jake, the mama dog, and all seven puppies safely.<br/><br/>Now, Jake’s chapter turns to his forever home. He is fully vetted, neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccinations. Jake is incredibly sweet, gentle, and well-mannered — the kind of dog that just has a calm, loving presence about him.<br/><br/>Jake is truly a special soul and deserves nothing less than an incredible family who will love him as deeply as he loves in return.
