JAILYN's Story

Currently in a foster home! Jailyn (A570352): Get to know Jailyn! Potty trained Crate trained Walks well on a leash Knows sit Good with dogs (Would do best with a calmer non dominant dog) Food motivated (great training incentive) Loves fruits & veggies Not good with cats Unknown if good with kids (Jailyn has not interacted with children up close, but on walks she is respectful of children in proximity showing relaxed friendly body language. Jailyn can become overexcited during play through her bounciness and mouthing, so a home with big kids who can help enforce good play habits may be best) Jailyn did not get the memo that twos were terrible... I think that half of her DNA is sugar because this girl is sweet as candy. She love's to sit close to her person and hug on them or have her paw held. You may even get a sweet little kiss. Jailyn does exhibit behaviors indicating she may have been physically punished in her past, but that has not deterred her from being the playful loving girl she is! Additionally she makes the best sleeping buddy! When it's bed time, this girl crawls right under the covers and sleeps peacefully the whole night! She barely even moves, as long as you are close by. Jailyn has shown she can coexist well with other dogs. She does great with the male foster dog and doesn't seem to care about the resident male dog too much besides sneaking in a few kisses through the baby gate. She loves to play chase with her foster family's other foster dog. If potential adopter's have other dogs, this girl would do best in a house with a calmer confident dog using slow introductions, or as an only pet. That's the beauty about Jailyn, she is completely content doing her own thing, as long as she has a few good toys. Tough rubber toys seem to be some of her favorites!
