Jaida Rottweiler Dillsburg, PA

Meet Jaida, a GORGEOUS athletic, TRAINED, 7-ish year old rottie mix PRINCESS, that is a perfect size, under 50 pounds. Jaida has been in the HOPE program since February 2023, meaning she has and continues to benefit from 24/7 one-on-one training, living with her handler (follow her weekly blog here: https://centralpaanimalalliance.org/jaida-blog). She is more than ready to be PAROLED FORTHWITH to her FURever family!
Jaida asked us to share the following with you:
"...Before I tell you all of my tricks and how amazing I am, I want to share a bit about my "carfax" with you - not so you feel sad for me but so you understand my quirks, which are now my strengths. When I was younger, I was mistreated, and someone tied my snout closed with duct tape. You can still see the scar today, which I think of as a 'survivor tattoo.' I am a forward-thinking gal but I wanted to share that with you so you understand that I need to know I can trust you, and once I can (and it really only takes one treat), you are IN. Enough about the past - let's talk about the beautiful, talented, and amazing ME.

Affectionate is my middle name (even though the writers of this bio refused to add my middle name - silly humanz). One of my favorite things is getting hip to tail rubs and get this - I will even back up like a truck ('beep beep beep') to get the scratches in.

Not only am I crate and house trained, I am fully trained with commands. I even know SPEAK. Can you imagine how lucrative it would be for us to start a business where we could teach others (humans and K9's) NOT to speak. We would be trillionaires! I am a great communicator with my adorable head tilt, and you can gauge my happiness by the speed of my tail wagging. Not to brag but I passed my Level 3 Obedience Training. WHOOT WHOOT! Can you say COMPLETE PACKAGE?!

I am a 'manners' kind of girl. I believe in chivalry. If you feed me (and trust me, I LOVE food and treats) but you aren't eating, I will WAIT for you to eat before I start eating. Some could call that 'codependent,' but I call it RESPECT.

I love being active and outdoors. I will thrive in a chill and quiet home, where I am your only pet (because believe me, I may be small but I am ENOUGH and will burst your heart right open), but with a FURever family that enjoys hiking and long walks. I love running. While I do have a FABULOUS sense of humor, this story happens to be true: I taught my handler fetch and chase as in he throws the ball, I grab it, and then he chases me around. I am not sure if I am brilliant, funny, adorable, loving, or all of the above.
