Jager's Story

Jager was on his way to a kill shelter when a kind soul stepped in to save him. He is 8yrs old and weighs around 25 pounds. He bonds with his person and is a good companion but he's independent. He doesn't want to be petted much even though he may be laying by your side. Just leave him be and all will be fine. If you pet him, he may snap. He gets along with the dogs great and loves to run/play outside. He just needs to be allowed to be near you without getting pets/rubs. He tolerates a crate. Jager would be best in a home with no small children who may want more interaction with him than he cares for. Housetrained. He has been waiting for YEARS and is currently in a boarding setting, wishing he had a foster or forever home. Neuter, vaccines, microchip provided.
