Jade & Diesel *Forever in Foster Care*

Jade and Diesel are now in our forever foster program due to their ongoing health issues. We will continue to support these precious pups while they are being very well taken care of by their loving foster parents. <br/><br/>Update : September 2024<br/><br/>Jade and Diesel have been with us for a few months. Their foster parents report that they are both doing well and are sweet little dogs. They must be adopted together as they are a bonded pair.<br/><br/>As we previously noted, they both have heart conditions that require daily heart medication (Pimobendan). They are both doing well on the medication and are active, happy little dogs. As with any heart condition, follow up will need to be done at regular intervals with their new vet. They love playing with each other and the other dogs in their foster home. They can be a bit vocal so they are not suited to a condo or apartment. As Jade and Diesel haven't lived with children and because they are older dogs, we feel they are best suited to a quiet, calm, adult home. They will need to go out often throughout the day for bathroom breaks or they may have accidents in the house. We feel they are best suited to an adopter who is home for most of the day. <br/>Diesel has been neutered and required dentistry. His mouth was full of rotten teeth, but he has recovered well. Jade has been spayed. Her dentistry will be done in a few weeks.<br/>Jade and Diesel both enjoy affection and attention. At night time when watching TV, Jade and Diesel enjoy snuggling on the couch. Diesel enjoys lying fully stretched out on his Foster Mom's lap enjoying a tummy scratch once in a while. Jade some times snuggles beside her Foster Mom, but for the most part, Jade is lying an armstretch away and enjoying all the cozy comforts of the couch.
