Jacoby's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jacoby is an intelligent, fun loving, adventure seeking guy. More than a few times he has easily jumped our 4 foot fences to go and check out the other areas of the shelter. Fortunately, he's also a loyal guy and will usually come running back once well call his name. Jacoby seems to be more comfortable with female dogs and sometimes seems awkward as if he doesn't really know how to play. Our girls, Lilith and Wednesday have helped him lean into his doggy playgroup skills. Jacoby, often called Kobe, is a little cautious with having a collar put on but has definitely learned that the leash brings good things! He loves treats and toys. He often tosses his toys in the air when he's inside "helping" our volunteers clean. He really enjoys being petted and brushed but usually doesn't go right up to strangers. We think he likes to play hard to get but once you start rubbing him, you can feel him sort of melt into you. He is part husky and loves to talk to us. You should just hear the conversations between him and our volunteers! If you're looking for a loving, handsome, GOOFY dog that would absolutely flourish with a little training, you won't find one more deserving than Jacoby! All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.

Learn more about our Adoption Information here and fill out an application here.
