Jacob (nutmeg)'s Story

Jacob is around 2 years old and has the biggest ears and an even bigger personality. He's a happy, spunky guy with a playful, goofy nature that's guaranteed to make you smile. Jacob loves people and enjoys being part of whatever his humans are doing, whether that's going for a walk, playing with toys, or just hanging out together.

Despite his fun personality, Jacob is an incredibly easy and well-mannered dog. His foster says he's one of the easiest fosters they've ever had! He walks beautifully on leash, is fully potty trained, and sleeps through the night without a problem. He's also fully crate trained and settles quietly with just one command.

Jacob has excellent manners. He sits for leashing and unleashing, waits politely at doorways (even the car door), and rides great in the car. He's respectful when meeting new people and is incredibly affectionate once he bonds with you. His favorite thing is rubbing up against his people for pets and snuggles.

He does well with female dogs, and could also live with a male dog with a proper slow introduction. He's gentle around children and even carefully watches himself around his foster's one-year-old so he doesn't knock him over. He has no food or toy aggression. One of his cutest quirks is that he loves to "suckle" on blankets when he's relaxing. Cats are unknown.

If you're looking for a loyal companion with great manners and a fun personality, Jacob could be your perfect match.
