Jackson's Story
Meet Jackson — A Survivor Ready for His Next Chapter

Jackson is a 2–4 year old mixed-breed who came to local animal control after being involved in a cruelty case several weeks ago. Since then, he has undergone an incredible transformation thanks to the tireless efforts of animal control staff who worked patiently to restore his health and earn his trust.

Today, Jackson is an outgoing, bouncy, and enthusiastic boy who is clearly excited about life. He's full of energy and joy and is looking for an active home that can keep up with him and help him continue building confidence through structure, routine, and fun.

What we know about Jackson:
• Energetic, playful, and social
• Would thrive in an active household
• A fenced-in yard would be ideal for him to burn off energy
• Can be selective with other dogs — does best with female dogs in the home
• Previously lived with cats
• Loves engagement and being part of the action

Jackson has been through more than any dog should — and because of that, we are committed to making sure the rest of his life is filled with stability, happiness, and love. He deserves a future that looks nothing like his past.

If you're ready to give Jackson the active, loving home he's been waiting for — whether temporarily as a foster or forever as an adopter — we would love to hear from you.

Foster: www.roversdoover.com/foster
Adopt: www.roversdoover.com/adopt

Please Note: This dog is currently still under the care of another agency. Rover's Do Over is a foster-based rescue, and until we are able to officially pull Jackson from animal control and place him into a foster home, the information we have is limited. Once Jackson enters our care, we will be able to provide more detailed updates regarding his personality, behavior, and needs.

Jackson's past doesn't define him — his future does.
