"Jackson"'s Story
Jackson is currently reserved, quiet and very observant. He is slow to approach, but if comfortable will solicit your attention. Coming out of his kennel, he is not pushy, jumping up or vocal, however, once out he pulls hard and darts at the end of his leash - on a mission without a purpose. He is unable to engage or eat food outside, but inside he is able to do the basics: Sit, Paw, Recall As well as take food gentle from you. At this time, we feel Jackson would do well in a home that will be able to provide him with a quiet space with schedules and consistency to allow him time to come out of his shell. He will need a secure leash/harness/martingale collar that he cannot escape from as he settles into the outside world. He would benefit from confidence building training.
