Jackson's Story
Jackson is the softest and sweetest pup. He was found wandering the streets and his previous owner never claimed him. We believe he's around 1.5 years old.

Jackson loves to play fetch and chase his foster sisters around. He listens to commands and is generally very well behaved. He knows how to sit on command and knows what "No" means. More importantly, he listens to "no" consistently. ;) He would do well with an active family as he has a lot of energy. The first 5-10 minutes of his walks he pulls and is super excited, but calms down after the initial excitement wears off. He has done really well with a martingale type collar and enjoys being out in public and on adventures to anywhere dog friendly.

Jackson is potty trained, neutered and up to date on vaccines. Not only is he crate trained, he LOVES his crate. In his current foster home he has the option of being in a large crate, or a commercial sized kennel, and he chooses the crate any time he has a choice. When he's tired of playing, he takes himself to his crate with a chew bone to relax.

Speaking of playing, Jackson hasn't met a dog he doesn't like. However he can sometimes be a bit much for other dogs, at first, due to his excited energy. He loves chasing and being chased. He can play a little rough, but only when other dogs are matching his energy. He's a very intelligent dog who enjoys learning and training. He's mastered the "wait" command - to the point where he'll wait patiently while you trim his nails and bathe him. His go-to move when he wants attention is to sit on your feet and lean his back against your legs while looking up at you with his sweet puppy dog eyes.
