Jackson's Story

Jackson is a very sweet 3-4 year old Terrier mix. He gets along well with every dog he meets. He would love a home with other dogs to play with. He also gets along with cats. He's nervous around small children so we would recommend children be above the age of 5. He would prefer an active lifestyle since he's not really one to be a “couch potato.” He has the cutest little bouncy walk that will just melt your heart. He's shy at first but then warms up. He is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
