Jackee was discovered in a vulnerable state by one of our volunteers while feeding, in the middle of nowhere in Bakersfield CA, alone, covered in lesions and infested with ticks while scavenging for food.<br/>Given her dire condition, we could not abandon her, and after completing her legal stray hold and receiving the necessary medical treatment, she is now ready to start a new chapter in her life.<br/><br/>Jackee has a calm and affectionate demeanor, making her a wonderful companion. She interacts well with other dogs and people, although we have not yet tested her with cats or children. Jackee is looking for her forever home.
