Jack's Story
Meet Jack – A Smart, High-Energy Pup Ready to Learn!
Jack is a stunning 58-lb tan and brindle boy with a big personality and an even bigger desire to learn. He’s energetic, playful, and incredibly food-motivated—an ideal match for someone who enjoys training and is excited to help him reach his full potential. Jack already knows "sit," is progressing beautifully with clicker work, and is eager to pick up more skills. He can be a little anxious at times, and he may take treats with extra enthusiasm (watch those fingers!), but positive reinforcement goes a long way with him. This playful pup loves toys and will happily sit and wait for you to toss one. He’ll even trade toys for treats or another toy. With his high energy, he can get jumpy and mouthy during play, so continued structure and guidance will help him polish those manners. Jack is reactive to other dogs and needs to be the only dog in the home. He’s best suited for households with adults and teens 12+, especially one that can offer a predictable routine and respect his boundaries—particularly around food and treats. Jack is strong on leash and tends to pull, but he’s easy to gear up and ready to improve his walking skills with training. Jack’s ideal adopter is someone who enjoys an active, engaging relationship with their dog and is committed to ongoing positive training. We encourage the whole family to meet him to ensure it’s the perfect match. If you’re looking for a bright, fun, and motivated dog who thrives with guidance, Jack can’t wait to meet you!

This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition?
