Jack's Story
Poor Jack was surrendered to a rural shelter in Arizona when his owner became ill. Jack was with the same owner for 11 years and then he suddenly found himself in a scary place. For 3 1/2 months he sat waiting for someone to adopt him, but no one came. In the meantime, he got thinner and thinner and more and more sad. He was then transferred to a small rescue where he was able to get medical care and lots of love and attention. His transformation was amazing. Each day he smiles more and wags his tail more feverishly. Although he is a senior (with no teeth), he still loves to run, go on walks and stay active. He needs a hero to give him the life he deserves during his senior years.
