Jack 's Story

Jack is a very sweet 11 months old Border Collie mix. He is energetic and every dog’s best friend and would be a great companion for a home that already has a dog(s). Jack is very go with the flow and loves both dogs in his foster home. He is curious about cats but does not give chase and understands what a cat paw to the head means. 😆 When he gets tired, Jack loves to nestle his head into you and cuddle and loves to chew on bones and play with toys. Jack is a smart boy and learning basic commands easily. He is currently perfecting sit, paw/shake, stay, come, down, outside, all done/enough. He loves to learn tricks! He is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
