Jack's Story
What can I say about Jack??? He is a young boy who was given a raw deal by his last family. He is a Poodle mix - most likely a Maltipoo and was purchased as a puppy from a pet store and kept in his home until he was drugged to the shelter to be surrendered. The family thought he was being too rough with their 3 year old. Jack didn't stand a chance. At the shelter he was shut down and simply terrified. His mats were so tight against his skin they were starting a series of sores in various places. I went to get him and knew that something wasn't right. I knew the dog I was seeing wasn't "aggressive" or "rough" he was scared. We left and when I got him home I noticed something else.....he was / is DEAF. Those people had this poor animal for over a year and had no idea he couldn't hear. The first thing we did was get him groomed. A close shave was needed with no way around it. Once Jack could see he became a very different dog. He looks to you for guidance. He is learning hand signals. He LOVES to play, He LOVES being outside and He LOVES to be LOVED - who doesn't?? All he needed was for someone to save him - and we did. Jack is now neutered and Up To Date on all vaccines. His skin has healed and he is a happy, silly, funny, loveable guy. Jack's adoption fee is just $300 and he comes with Leash, Harness, Bed, Food, Treats, Toys, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Prevention. All you need to provide is Love, Patience and Guidance. If you would like to meet Jack please reach out to us at 856-285-8502 or email mtngirl4ever60@gmail.com. I promise you will not be disappointed!
