Izzy's Story

We couldn't have imagined a sweeter pup than Izzy! This 10 month old little gal is about 13 lbs and we're guessing a Dachshund/Chihuahua/King Charles mix. Those are total guesses, but what is certain is that Izzy is adorable. While she needs a little guidance on a leash, she has a prance and a wiggle in her walk that is the cutest! She can be a bit shy and nervous at first but does warm up in time. She is not an aggressive dog, if anything she will be more clingy at first until she gets comfortable. She takes cues well and would make a wonderful sibling to a current pet. She seems to be okay in a crate at her current foster home and she needs a little refresher on potty training. Pictures don't do her justice, her smile and sweet, calm demeanor will melt your heart.

A home with another friendly dog is strongly preferred. Izzy is very dog friendly and seems to take comfort in having another doggy companion around. Izzy has been bounced around a lot in her short life. She needs an adopter who will be patient with her and allow her to warm up and settle in over time. We love Izzy and want her future adopter to love her as much as we do. This little girl deserves it!
