Welcome to Scituate, Izzy! Izzy came to us after Hurricane Michelle ravaged Jamaica. She is a sweet, shy girl, but she warms up quickly. She is good with other dogs, and likely would be OK with calm children. She does not seem to have experience walking on leash, so will need someone patient to show her the ropes. Izzy has been through a lot and is ready to be spoiled and blossom into a wonderful dog!<br/><br/><br/>We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. <br/><br/>We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. <br/><br/>Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. <br/><br/>Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit.
