Izzie's Story
Meet Izzy!
Izzy is a three-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing about 10 pounds. She came to us from a hoarding situation where a Humane Agent had to step in, and she’s been learning what it means to be safe, loved, and cared for ever since.

This petite sweetheart is looking for a patient adopter who’s willing to continue helping her build confidence and reinforce her basic training. She’s already potty trained and knows a few commands like “Down,” “Come,” and “No.” Because she can still be a little shy and occasionally gives a gentle growl when she’s unsure (never bites!), she’d do best in a home without small children.

Izzy can be a typical Chihuahua so a person or family with Chihuahua experience is required.

She would do best as an only dog so she can soak up all the attention!

She’s an energetic little jumper and will need a secure, at least 6-foot fence, as she can easily clear anything lower when she’s excited!

Once she feels comfortable, Izzy’s fun-loving side shines through—she loves to chase her tail, play fetch, and pursue squirrels in the yard. She’s also a huge lapdog who adores cuddling and being close to her person.

Her foster says she enjoys going for walks and is a great camping companion—she loves exploring the outdoors and soaking up every new adventure.

Izzy has come such a long way from where she started, and with a little more patience and love, she’ll blossom into the devoted companion she’s meant to be.

If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate little sidekick, Izzy might just be your girl!

She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, micro chipped, and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Her adoption fee is $350.

Please follow the link below for her adoption application.
