Meet Iza
Meet the amazing Iza!
Iza was a dog we agreed to take in over a year ago in Armenia that had been wasting away at the shelter overloaded with dogs but the CDC had shut down travel, and we finally got approval to bring her over. She’s approx 6 years old and great with dogs and despite her past, an absolute sweetheart with people.
Iza, like many strays in Armenia, was emaciated and neglected. There are a lot of people in the world that don’t find value in a dog’s life as she was deliberately hit by a car and left for dead. The accident didn’t take away her will to live, although it took away her vision.
Thankfully good people exist, and we appreciate our good friend, Susanna, who took her in and got her vetted. She is 100% blind and she'll need a home that will help her learn where all the furniture is located so she can find her favorite spot.
She is very dog-friendly and is a very low-maintenance dog as her favorite things to do are sunbathe, going on walks, and receive belly rubs.
