Ivy's Story
Three years ago, Ivy arrived at the pound as a stray. She was adopted shortly after and spent the next 2.5 years in her home. In March of this year, Ivy was seized from her home with six others, after a deceased dog was reported. The case is still pending in court, so full details cannot yet be released.

Ivy was recently adopted and spent about a week in her new home before being returned to the pound due to destructive chewing, though it's ALLEGED that Ivy had been alone in the house for an excessive amount of time, leading to Ivy's panicked separation anxiety.

Ivy hasn't had much stability so far, but she has held strong during her stay at the pound, and her personality has really started to shine the last few months. Ivy doesn't seem to hate being here, but she does deserve so much better.

Ivy is open to meeting other dogs, and she was just in a home with children who she did wonderfully with. She will, however, need a home without cats.

Ivy is a wonderful dog - a true volunteer favorite. If you'd like to add this chunky little potato to your family, please let us know!
