Meet Ivy! This happy, easy going girl is ready to find a family to love her for the long haul.

Breed: Lab mix (Ivy may be mixed with pit bull)
Estimated age: 6 years old

Ivy is the ideal dog for a human who enjoys front-porch sitting and brief walks around the neighborhood. She won't beg you to hit the gym, or to start training for that 5k. She won't make you feel guilty about that 3rd Krispy Kreme doughnut you've had today.. I mean, the "hot now" sign was on.. what were you supposed to do?

Ivy is a very loving + kindhearted soul. She is a laid-back, happy girl who truly just wants to be with her people, whether that be snuggling on the couch, or sunbathing outside while you work in your garden. Her tail will drum on the ground when she gets excited, which is mostly related to food; leaving no surprise that our girl here is on a diet to trim down her figure.

Ivy does well with other dogs who will respect her space. She gladly whips out her mom-voice if rowdy pups are in her face begging to play after she has spent the entire day cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping AND taken little Timmy to football practice and little Tanya to volleyball. She will gladly settle down with you at the end of a long day + binge watch Clickbait until bedtime.
