Ishka is healthy and vaccinated but still needs to be neutered.<br/><br/>Ishka is friendly with strangers who enter the house after a proper introduction, but is otherwise protective. Out on walks, Ishka is also protective of his people towards strangers.<br/><br/>Ishka is good with young children, but is a little too large and exuberant for toddlers.<br/><br/>Ishka is good with other dogs and wants to play. He is fine with little dogs.<br/><br/>Ishka is good with the one cat he lives with. <br/><br/>Ishka is housetrained, but is primarily an outdoor dog. He only comes inside when the weather is inclement. He sleeps in his dog house outside.<br/><br/>Ishka walks fine on leash and is non-reactive towards other dogs who he sees when on walks.<br/><br/>Ishka rides calmly in a vehicle. He loves playing with his squeaky toy. <br/><br/>Ishka’s people (Jose & Luz Gutierrez) obtained him from a friend when he was two months old. They are now seeking a new home for Ishka because they are moving back to El Salvador in mid-March 2025 and are unable to take him with them.  <br/><br/>There is no adoption fee for Ishka, but because he has yet to be neutered, a $100 refundable neuter deposit will be required of his adopters. This deposit will be returned to the adopters after they have Ishka neutered within 90 days of adoption.
