Isabelle's Story

Beautiful Isabelle has the perfect mix of gentle sweetness and playful spirit. This 1-year-old pit mix is learning that life can be full of kindness and second chances. Some days she's shy and reserved, while other days she's eager to greet new friends with a wagging tail - it just depends on how comfortable she feels.

Isabelle is fostered in a loving home with young kids and dogs, and she's done wonderfully with both. She's not ideal for cats, as her playful chase instinct tends to kick in when they run, but she's otherwise a happy, easygoing girl who just wants to be near her people.

Her story started at a local farm, where she appeared unexpectedly - pregnant and searching for a safe place to give birth. She disappeared into the woods to have her babies, but thankfully caring folks went looking for her and helped bring the little family to safety. All of her pups have since found forever homes - and now it's Isabelle's turn.

She's spayed, healthy, and ready to start her new life filled with love, security, and a family who will never stop looking out for her.
