Isabella - Adopted - Congrats Navarro family!'s Story

This stunning one year old, red-and-white Siberian Husky earned her spot with us after a series of misadventures that left her misunderstood. Surrendered to the shelter after multiple escapes and a high prey drive made her previous home unsafe, Isabella’s story is one of resilience. She’s now thriving in foster care, where her instincts are respected, her spirit is shining, and her future is finally looking stable. What Makes Isabella Special: - Completely housebroken and crate trained - Puppy energy with a playful streak—she loves yard zoomies, toy time, and long walks - Affectionate and gentle, especially with children ages 2–6 - No resource guarding observed with food or toys - Somewhat vocal (she’s a Husky, after all!) and pulls on leash, especially when prey is near - Suspicious of loud kitchen gadgets—blenders and salad spinners are not her vibe Daily Routine: - Eats Taste of the Wild (fish-based) twice daily (8:30 AM & 5 PM), 1 cup per meal - Likely has a chicken allergy, so she’s sticking to fish for now - Enjoys at least an hour of exercise daily, from walks to yard play - Does well alone in her crate for up to 4 hours Isabella’s Ideal Home: - Fenced yard required—her prey drive is strong, and she must be secured at all times - Likely not a match for small dogs or animals -Loves to play with other dogs but is super duper playful. Any resident dogs need to match her energy level and wrestling style. - A home that welcomes her onto the couch for snuggles and pets - Humans who appreciate her quirks and are ready to continue her training with love and consistency Isabella is a sweet, happy-go-lucky, fun, husky pup ready to give her all to a deserving family. She's located in MD.
