Iris's Story

Iris and Marley are adorable 5 month old Hound/Husky/Lab mixes. They came to FOCAS' attention as very sick "Good Sam" puppies. The FOCAS Angel Fund sponsored their hospitalization and intensive veterinary care to help them survive a serious viral infection. Tehy not only survived...they THRIVED! Both pups are being home-nurtured by FOCAS foster care-givers. Iris has a Basset hound figure and inherited a Husky-type face with one brown eye and one blue eye. Marley seems to be more of a Lab/Hound combo with long legs. These delightful pups are EXTREMELY AFFECTIONATE. Energetic. Smart. They respond to basic obedience commands already. Both are always wagging tails and ready to smear a face with kisses. Marley is being fostered in a multi-dog and cat household; he gets along well with all. To meet Iris and Marley, call FOCAS at 201 943-4019, opt. #4.
