Iris's Story

ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt.

// // Meet Iris! Iris is an approximately 1 year old mixed-breed female puppy with a sweet, playful spirit. She weighs 18 pounds and is thought to be a chihuahua/terrier mix. Though she can be a bit timid when meeting new people, she quickly blossoms into a loving, happy companion. Iris has been fostered with her brother, Indigo, and loves to play with other dogs. She also does well with children and adults once she has a little time to feel comfortable, but is still shy to be held or picked up. She loves chew toys, exploring, and spending time playing in the yard. She is potty-trained, crate-trained, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Iris doesn’t have much experience on a leash yet, but she’s eager to learn with a patient family. This happy, gentle, and active girl will make a wonderful addition to a caring home. Her adoption fee is $300.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
