Iris's Story
Meet Iris from the Spring Class!

Iris is a 2-year-old, 35-pound bundle of energy who truly believes life is meant to be lived at full speed! This spunky, fun-loving girl is always on the move, exploring, wiggling, and making new friends wherever she goes. Sitting still? Not her style.

She absolutely adores people and will happily soak up all the love and attention you're willing to give. And if you happen to have snacks, you'll become her instant favorite! This smart girl is very food motivated and eager to learn.

Iris recently had her right eye removed due to an old injury, but don't let that fool you, she hasn't slowed down for even a second. She's a perfect example that you don't need perfect vision to live life to the fullest. Her playful, joyful personality shines just as brightly as ever!

In her foster home, Iris has shown that she gets along with most other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. She's incredibly smart with amazing recall, and while she has lots of puppy-like energy, she also knows how to crash hard after a good play session.

This water-loving girl is happiest splashing around whenever she gets the chance! She does have a high prey drive and loves to chase squirrels and cats, so a home that can manage that instinct will be important.

Iris can be a little nervous around men and small children at first, but with patience and time to build trust, she blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. She thrives with a consistent routine. While she initially had some mild separation anxiety, she quickly settled once she understood her foster's schedule and felt secure.

Iris is looking for an active, patient home that will embrace her energy, continue her training, and give her all the love she deserves. If you're ready for a smart, playful, and endlessly joyful companion, Iris might just be your perfect match!
