Innocent's Story

Innocent has not been proven guilty and is ready for you to bail her out! She's a year old, weighs 45 lbs, and is such a friendly girl! She tends to pull while on the leash, so we'd recommend grabbing a Weiss Walkie leash at our KHS Store to help relieve the pressure on her throat. She likes snacks, loves lap time, and will lean into you with her whole body! Kansas Humane Society of Wichita's Adoption Policy

Adoptions are available on a first come, first served basis - no appointment needed. Holds may be placed for a deposit by visiting KHS, or calling 316-524-9196. When you arrive at KHS, let our adoptions counselors know which animal(s) you'd like to meet in our visiting rooms or play yards. We encourage visits by all members of the household, especially kids and other dogs! *Must be 18 years of age or older (or accompanied by an adult) with a current photo ID. Must be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care for your adopted companion.
