Inga's Story

Hi, I’m Inga—an 8-year-old gal with a gentle heart, a thoughtful soul, and 76 pounds of loyalty to give. I spent my life as a devoted companion to my person and did wonderfully living with an adult who used a wheelchair. I was calm, respectful, and loving, and I truly shine when I have a close bond with my human. I’ve met all kinds of people over the years. I can be a little shy at first, but once I know you’re kind, I’m warm, friendly, and happy to be by your side.

I’ve also lived peacefully with cats—two male ones, actually! We got along well and even played together, so I’m very comfortable sharing my home with feline friends. With other dogs, I’m friendly and wiggly when meeting them, though I might bark at first to announce myself.

I was trusted with free roam of the house and did great. I’m housebroken and very reliable—accidents were extremely rare and only happened if I wasn’t able to get outside in time. When left alone, I’d usually nap, rest, or entertain myself. I enjoy running and playing in the yard, tossing toys around, and getting gentle daily exercise. I don’t need nonstop activity—just enough to keep my body and mind happy.

If you’re looking for a calm, loving, cat-friendly shepherd who forms deep bonds, I might be your perfect match!

Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs. Our fosters are available to answer your questions and will give you all the details you need to know about our dogs such as if they are shy, are they outgoing, what is their energy level, are they couch potatoes, love bugs, kissers, lickers, so please do apply and ask our fosters questions - this will ensure you find your pur-fect match in our rescue!

***IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING OR ADOPTING INGA, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AT WWW.MANYPAWSGLOBALRESCUE.ORG***
