Indy II's Story

The last photo is what her fur would kinda look like but of course better condition. She was shaved cause she was so matted. We took her in even though we don't believe she is a shepherd because her owner was going to shoot her if someone didn't take her.

Hey y'all! I'm Indie—a 40-pound Texas girl who traded tumbleweeds for snowflakes, and let me tell you... I am LOVING LIFE! My foster mom thinks I'm a Chow Chow/Shiba Inu mix. I'm all up to date on my vaccines, I'm spayed, and even though I had a rough start (mange + a tick-borne disease—yikes!), I bounced right back. My fur had to be shaved because of some matting, but don't worry... my floof is making a glorious comeback!

Life in foster care? A total blast. I discovered that snow is basically nature's confetti, and I can't get enough. I have four foster siblings who I absolutely adore—I'm a big fan of being part of a pack, so I'd really love if my forever home had another dog friend waiting for me. I like kids, too! Honestly, I'm down for just about anything... except being in a kennel. That's not my jam. I get stressed and have accidents, but when I'm left out, I'm a total angel (and yes, I get to sleep in bed like the princess I am).

So if you're searching for a smaller, sweet, spunky girl to bring joy and energy into your home... it might just be me!
