Indy's Story

ndy is a young Pit Bull / Lab mix, born 1/10/2025, currently weighing about 40 lbs, with typical puppy energy and a sweet, affectionate personality that shines once he feels comfortable. Indy is now being fostered in a home in Massachusetts and is available for adoption.

Like many puppies, Indy is still learning the ropes. He is working on house training and crate training and continues to build confidence as he settles into new routines and environments. In his foster home, Indy has been friendly and playful with other dogs and happily interacts with the two resident dogs. He has also done well with kids, including young adults in the home.

Indy can be a bit skittish around new people at first, which is not uncommon for young dogs, especially those who started life as strays. With time, patience, and positive reinforcement, he warms up and becomes a loving, loyal companion. Cats have not yet been tested; with proper introductions, supervision, and guidance, Indy may be able to adapt to a home with cats.

Indy would benefit from a home that understands puppy development and is ready to provide structure, consistency, and ongoing training as he grows. Continued socialization and basic training will help him build confidence and set him up for success.

All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and on preventatives.

For more information, visit our website: https://buddyandfriendsma.org

To be considered, an application must be submitted at: https://buddyandfriendsma.org/adopt

MA License Number: 52
