Meet Indy!<br/><br/>Indy is a beautiful 3-year-old Belgian Malinois weighing 92 pounds who is looking for a family to call her own.<br/><br/>Indy came to Happy Tails Happy Homes after she and her 11 puppies were rescued from an overcrowded California shelter where they were at risk of euthanasia. She was an outstanding mother, and now that all of her puppies have found their forever homes, it's finally Indy's turn.<br/><br/>One thing that makes Indy unique is that she is not your typical high-drive Malinois. While she enjoys playing and spending time outside, she also loves to relax. She's happiest lounging on her dog bed with a chew bone or hanging out with her people after a walk or play session.<br/><br/>Indy currently lives with four other dogs and does very well with them. Her best friend is a 50-pound Bull Terrier, and the two spend hours playing together in the yard. She enjoys canine companionship but also settles nicely indoors.<br/><br/>She walks well on leash, rides great in the car, is comfortable being left home alone, and does well at the veterinary clinic. She has a naturally friendly, stable temperament and is currently working on her basic obedience commands.<br/><br/>Indy would do best with a family that wants an affectionate companion and is committed to continuing her training and providing regular exercise. She enjoys getting out for adventures but is equally happy relaxing at home with her family.<br/><br/>Indy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all of her vaccinations. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate dog with a balanced personality, Indy may be the perfect addition to your family.
