Indy #5's Story
Meet Indy #5! Indy is a 6.5-year-old black female Labrador Retriever, weighing in at 67 pounds of pure sweetness. She was surrendered through no fault of her own due to a child in her family having severe allergies and asthma. Despite trying multiple medications, it ultimately wasn’t a safe situation for the child. Indy is a classic Lab through and through—especially when it comes to her beloved ball! She’s happiest carrying one around and is always ready to play. Indy loves car rides, enjoys the water, she's a great swimmer and has a great recall—she comes when called. She does well with other dogs and is best suited for a home with older children. She is also pretty good on the leash and knows her basic commands.

For additional information about Indy #5 please email Ann Hilchey: ann.hilchey@labs4rescue.org

Indy #5 is being fostered in Connecticut.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We receive many questions about our adoption process from potential adopters, most of which can be answered by viewing our "Adopt a Lab" page on our full-service website, (https://labs4rescue.com/adopt).
