Indigo's Story

Meet Indigo!

Indigo is a 10-month-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing about 35 pounds, and she’s bursting with love, joy, and playful puppy energy. She’s the kind of dog who thinks everyone is her best friend—kids, cats, dogs, and any human willing to give her attention are all at the top of her favorite list!

This sweet girl is potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to the right home. Indigo is very playful and excitable, but when there’s nothing going on, she’s perfectly happy being a couch potato and soaking up cuddles. When she gets really excited, she does the cutest little butt-wiggle to the side that’s guaranteed to make you smile.

Indigo is extremely toy-motivated and loves to carry her toys around just because—it’s one of her favorite pastimes. She enjoys car rides, is working on her leash manners, and already knows some basic commands including sit, down, and wait.

With her sweet nature, goofy personality, and loving heart, Indigo would thrive in a home ready to continue her training, play with her, and give her all the affection she craves.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and loyal companion, Indigo might just be your perfect match!

If you think Indigo may be the one for you, please go to our website at www.wagstorichesanimalrescue.org and fill out an application to adopt. Please be sure to include a vet reference as regular vet care is important to us for the health of all our adopted dogs. With approval and a $295 adoption donation, she will be ready to accompany you on all of life’s many adventures! Indigo is spayed, microchipped, fecal tested clean of internal parasites and up to date on all her vaccinations.
