Her hind legs looked like leopard prints that have just finally begun to heal. The signature "Pittie/Staffy" ears have spotted scars that still remind us of her story as they slowly begin to fade. <br/><br/>Then came the humans who showed her the wrong kind of hand. The one that hits instead of heals. By the time Indie finally reached us, her body was fighting an infection in her uterus and her spirit was fighting to remember what kindness felt like. Indie was cautious and made it clear she wanted to take it slow.
