Indie's Story

Indie is the perfect mix of cuddle bug and adventure buddy. This sweet boy loves snuggling up on the couch just as much as he enjoys long walks, runs, and car rides. He’s always ready for whatever your day holds!

Indie is a big fan of stuffed animals—though be warned, he may love them a little too much and turn them into confetti. He knows basic commands and is very food motivated, making training a breeze. He’s an excellent leash companion, whether you’re out for a stroll or a jog, he makes getting outside a total joy. He gets a little excited when seeing other dogs on leash but loves to play.

He’s crate trained and especially loves having a blanket draped over his crate to make it cozy and secure. Indie gets along well with kids, greeting them with excitement and lots of love. He’s also dog-friendly and tends to prefer female dogs.

Indie has done great with a resident cat, who is very calm and docile. He hasn’t chased or tried to hurt her, but as with any new animal introductions, slow and supervised interactions are key.

Indie would thrive in a home that can give him both affection and activity, someone who enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of couch cuddles. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, Indie might be the perfect fit for your family.

Interested in fostering? Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a stepping stone to the most at-risk pups via a strong foster based network and training support via training vouchers to those looking to keep their pup in-home. While we can’t adopt ourselves out of our current crisis, we can provide a pawsitive impact to those pups in our care.
