Indica's Story
Indica came to Seymour Mutts Rescue in early February with a chihuahua mix named Doobie. We don't know much about their history but we can confirm that they're both great doggos! Indica loves toys and can frequently be found hanging out with a grunting latex pig. She's a pretty go-with-the-flow sorta lady; she loves a game of fetch and going for a walk (she especially gets excited for rodent smells she finds outside), but she's also happy to spend most of her time chilling on the couch and relaxing or occupying herself with a toy.

Indy gets along well with the two pitties in her foster home, though she's a bit skeptical about sharing her favorite toys with one of them (Doobie, however, can go anywhere and do anything when it comes to Indica and and her stuff). She initially thought the resident cats might be fun to chase, but she was easily redirected and hasn't paid them much mind since. Indica is housetrained and hasn't had any accidents since the first week or so when she was adjusting to a new schedule.

Indica's breed mix is unknown, but she weighs about 52 pounds. She's estimated to be about 6 years old. Indy and Doobie enjoy each other's company but seem to prefer their humans most of all; check out Doobie's adoption bio and indicate on your application if you're interested in both dogs or just one.

Doobie's Adoption Bio: https://www.petfinder.com/dog/doobie-55057319/wi/madison/seymour-mutts-rescue-wi561/

Dogs at Seymour Mutts Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:

Spay/neuter
Rabies, distemper (DHPP), and bordetella vaccines
Microchip
Heartworm testing for dogs over 6 months of age
Deworming
Heartworm and flea/tick preventative

We believe in lowering the barriers to adoption and because of this we do not require a minimum adoption fee. We do, however, rely on financial contributions. Any funds received is at the discretion of the adopter and goes toward the care of animals in our rescue.
